Katrina & Michael | Deckhouse Woolwich Wedding

This incredibly glorious day - I’m not quite sure how to begin properly describing Katrina and Michael’s deeply beautiful and emotional wedding. Looking back at the collection of images, I struggled to find a moment where these two weren’t beaming radiantly at one another and that was honestly how they were through the duration of the day. The exception to the rule was when Michael wavered and lost every bit of willpower possible not to be completely and utterly moved by Kat walking down the aisle - if there was ever a way you want your groom to react to seeing you enter the ceremony, this really would be it (scroll down around midway through the post to take a peek).

Michael and Kat met in Coffs Harbour early 2013 when Kat was temporarily stationed there for work. After spending 3 months together, she returned to Sydney and they ended nurturing a incredibly sweet long-distance relationship for two years. Eventually Michael moved to Sydney so the pair could finally be in the same location. From there, it became extremely clear to him that this was how he wanted it to be for the rest of his life and it wasn’t long before he proposed to Kat. Work and training commitments meant they had to wait another two years before they could finally wed one another - so you can see, this stunningly gorgeous day, with a team of incredibly wonderful vendors who were all collectively so excited for this humble and gracious pair,  had been a very long time in the making.
