Edwina & Alex | Sergeants Mess, Chowder Bay Wedding

Uplifting, radiant, completely hilarious: have you ever met someone who had this way of walking into a room and immediately makes everything simply more light-hearted and lovelier. Edwina is one of these rare women who, brimming with an irrepressibly contagious smile and self-deprecating humour, has the ability to speak with so much heart and honesty it gently nudges you to hit pause, remember all is well, stop taking life so seriously.

Throughout the entire wedding day, people spoke of how simply refreshingly grounded this young lady was. Her father in particular, spoke happily of a memory he had of when she was young, when she comforted other (often older) toddlers around her by giving her toys to them to play. Alex mirrored this sentiment, telling the room how the moment she dropped everything to be by his side while his mother was unwell, was the same moment he knew this girl was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. He spoke of how proud he was of her, specifically her caring and selfless nature which is a driving force for her to working with children in speech pathology specialising in improving their ability to communicate so they can participate more fully in their wider community.

It has been such a privilege meeting this wonderful lady and her soulmate through the past year and documenting their gorgeous day at the breathtaking grounds of Sergeants Mess was nothing short of incredible.
